Built by MSP Practitioners, for MSP Teams
Workflow Tracker was created by IT Sales and Services (ITSAS) — an Australian company with over a decade of experience delivering managed IT services.
We Lived the Problem Before We Built the Solution
After more than a decade of running MSP operations, we'd tried every approach to managing complex IT workflows — spreadsheets, Autotask tasks, custom scripts, shared documents. None of them solved the core problem: there was no single source of truth that every technician, team lead, and manager could rely on in real time.
Deployments were missed steps. Onboarding was incomplete accounts. Telco provisioning was undocumented. And every time something went wrong, the post-mortem involved someone saying "I thought someone else was doing that."
We built Workflow Tracker to solve this problem permanently. Not a generic task manager with a few IT templates bolted on — a purpose-built platform with deployment classification logic, Autotask integration, and the workflow structure that MSP operations actually require.
Every feature in Workflow Tracker exists because we encountered the exact pain point it solves in our own operations or heard it from other MSP operators. This isn't a product built in a boardroom — it's built from the field up.

"We didn't set out to build a SaaS product. We set out to solve a problem we were living every day. Workflow Tracker is the tool we wished we'd had from the start."

Our Values
Purpose-Built
Every feature exists to solve a real MSP problem. We don't add capabilities for their own sake — we build what the industry actually needs.
Technician-First
The product is designed for the people doing the work. Clear, unambiguous interfaces that work on any device, in any environment.
Accountable
Every action is tracked, attributed, and documented. Because in IT, accountability is the difference between a good outcome and a blame game.
Automated Where It Matters
Manual data entry is error-prone and time-consuming. We automate the parts that should be automatic, so your team can focus on the work.
Built for the People Doing the Work
Workflow Tracker is designed for three personas in your MSP — each with different needs, all served by the same platform.
MSP Owner / Operations Director
- Reduce deployment errors and rework costs
- Full visibility into team workload and progress
- ROI from faster, more consistent service delivery
- Scalability without proportional headcount growth
Senior Tech / Service Desk Manager
- Workflow standardisation across the team
- Task visibility and accountability per technician
- Autotask PSA integration that actually works
- Easy onboarding for new team members
Field Tech / Helpdesk / Deploy Specialist
- Clear, unambiguous task lists for every job
- Mobile access on-site without installing an app
- No more back-and-forth to find out what to do next
- Tasks that auto-update based on what they've already done
Why Not the Alternatives?
We're not here to disparage other tools — we use some of them ourselves. But for MSP workflow management, they each fall short in specific ways.
| Alternative | Their Approach | Workflow Tracker Advantage |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadsheets & Docs | Manual tracking, no automation, no accountability, prone to version conflicts | Automated task generation, real-time status, team-wide visibility, full audit trail |
| Generic PM Tools (Trello, Asana, Monday) | Not MSP-specific, no PSA integration, no deployment classification logic | Purpose-built for MSP workflows, native Autotask integration, industry-specific task templates |
| PSA-Only Workflow | Autotask/ConnectWise workflows are ticket-centric, not granular checklist-centric | Granular checklist tracking that complements PSA ticketing — not a replacement, a companion |
| In-House Scripts & Bots | Fragile, single-point-of-failure, no UI, dependent on the person who wrote it | Maintained platform with admin UI, mobile access, team management, and ongoing support |
